Organizations

Every parish normally has several organizations which are an important part of the ministry and service of the parish to its own members as well as to the members of the community and the larger church.

Council of Catholic Women (CCW) All women of the parish are automatically a member of the Council of Catholic Women. The CCW has its own organizational structure and meetings on the parish, diocesan, and national level. The particular parish responsibilities will vary from one parish to another.

St. Anne's Altar Society was formed in 1885 and has become St. Anne's CCW (Council of Catholic Women). The purpose of CCW is to unite all Catholic women of St. Raphael's parish in religious, educational, social, and service activities. All women of the parish are automatically members and are divided into nine groups for fund raising, serving funeral lunches, and other group activities. Meetings are held five times a year in September, November, January, March and May on the 3rd Thursday of the month.
