Faith Formation for Pre-Scool thru 5th GradePre- K [Level 1] Thursday AfternoonsPre-school & Kindergarten grades are led by the master catechists of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, our Atrium program. The class meets in the Atrium room, in the church basement. Their curriculum is internationally taught and known for it’s experiential learning styles. We also will be sending for home family study Gospel Weeklies from Pflaum Publishing Group. This program has lectionary-based lessons that connect to our weekly Mass readings, to reinforce the basic church teachings at each grade level. Storytelling, prayer and fun activities lead students to the Gospel. 1st/2nd/3rd grades [Level 2] Wednesday Afternoons1st, 2nd, 3rd grades are led by the master catechists of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, our Atrium program. This program has lectionary-based lessons that connect to our weekly Mass readings, to reinforce the basic church teachings at each grade level. Exploring faith, making moral choices, and Saint’s examples help these student’s grasp the teachings. |
